Check-in takes place from 8:15 AM to 8:45 AM on the first floor of the base lodge behind the fireplace\, with the goal of getting on the snow by 9:00 AM. Optional weighted packs are available for those who want a closer sense of the loads carried in 1945.\nWho Can Join: Open to skiers\, splitboarders\, and uphill athletes of all ability levels.\nTickets & Passes: A Bromley Uphill Pass\, Ticket\, or Uphill New England Pass is required.\nBromley’s day-of event waiver is required.\n\nThe Challenge offers a simple goal: come together\, move uphill with purpose\, and be part of a national moment that honors one of the great stories in mountain history.

Sun Mountain Challenge! \nWe’re offering challenges for all levels and abilities this year: 5K\, 10K\, and 25K. \nMake your way up beautiful trails with gradual ascents and descents. Soak in the scenery atop the summit which boasts 360-degree views of neighboring mountains. \nPrizes: Winter lift tickets will be awarded to the 1st place winner of each race type and gender!  T-shirts\, medals\, sunglasses\, loop blocks\, and plenty of Bromley swag will be given to all participants. \nAfter-Race FUN: Each racer gets a wristband for free entry into the Mountain Adventure Park. Friend and family race supporters will also receive $10 off the Mountain Adventure Park. Enjoy live music from 2-5pm by KALE out on the Sun Deck then refuel with some delicious grub from the Wild Boar Tavern! \nParking: Free parking is available past the Bromley entrance\, through the tunnel into our lot. There is a drop-off/pick-up area right in front of Bromley. Please\, NO PARKING in the drop-off area.
