DESCRIPTION:Spring Planning for Invasive Species | Sunday\, February 8th at 1PM \nIgnoring invasives in the forest is like ignoring weeds in a garden. Invasive species are spreading \nin Vermont\, and it is up to ALL of us to fight them. Whether on public or private lands\, invasive \nplants outlast\, outcompete\, and outproduce native species. Addressing invasives is essential for \nthe natural future of Vermont. \n  \nThis will be a hybrid program starting in the library and then heading outside to Pinnacle Forest to look for invasives. The hike will be approximately 1.5 miles. Bring your poles and microspikes if the weather looks icy. No registration. This program is in collaboration with Hike Dorset.
