Just 10 minutes away from the Dorset Green up Rte. 315 in Rupert, Merck Forest & Farmland Center offers unique backcountry lodging options:  nine rustic cabins, which variously sleep 2-15, are fully enclosed and equipped with a wood-burning stove, wooden bunks, and a nearby outhouse and are available for overnight rentals. There is neither indoor plumbing nor electricity. Our three lean-tos have three walls, a roof, a nearby outhouse and a fire ring. Dispersed Camping opportunities abound
