Green Mountain Academy welcomes Gloria Palmer, an IPTPA Level One certified pickleball instructor, to lead this pickleball clinic for beginners. Here is your chance to join the fun and learn pickleball, the fastest growing sport! In this three-week clinic, we will start with the basics… dinking, ground strokes, scoring, serves and returns, and volleys. There will be plenty of time for game play at the end of each session. Combining elements of other racquet sports, pickleball is played on a badminton-sized court with a slightly modified tennis net, using a composite paddle and a plastic ball with holes. If you have your own paddle, bring it. If not, no worries, we will have extras. Please dress appropriately for court play and bring a water bottle. Class size is limited to ten students. This clinic will meet on Sundays, May 10, 17, 24. Registration is $75 per person for the three-session clinic.
