GMALL Presents – Green Mountain Modern: Architecture of the 1930s to 1970s in Vermont
Thursday, June 18 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at Burr & Burton Academy, Bell Tower Room

Green Mountain Academy welcomes Devin Colman, the Director of the UVM Historic Preservation Graduate Program, to talk about modern architecture in the Green Mountain State. Vermont holds a special place in our minds as a 19th century time capsule, where quaint villages and picturesque farmsteads exist in a land that time forgot. But Vermont also boasts a significant body of 20th century architectural heritage, and this talk will explore the innovative building forms, materials, and concepts behind notable examples of Mid-Century Modern architecture throughout the state. Registration for the talk is $20 per person. For more information or to register, please call our office at 802-867-0111 or visit greenmtnacademy.org.
