Nature journaling offers a personalized and distinctive way to connect with the natural world while enriching your curiosity. Through reflection, writing, and sketching, Laura Beltran will introduce a variety of journaling techniques letting you discover the approach that is best for you. We’ll spend some time outdoors (indoors, if necessary due to weather) carrying our supplies as we explore. Please bring writing utensils, a journal or paper, and a portable chair.

Laura Beltran is Education Director with Nature Investigations, a certified nature journaling educator through the Wild Wonder Foundation, and a certified interpretive guide with the National Association for Interpretation. Recently she found joy in writing with current projects including “Reflections from the Field” and a children’s book about spiders.
