Harmonizing Innovation: Navigating the Creative and Legal Landscape of AI-Generated Music
Tuesday, September 16 from 5:30 – 7:00pm at Southern Vermont Arts Center
Green Mountain Academy for Lifelong Learning (GMALL) welcomes Sandy Wilbur, a forensic musicologist, and Patricia Nelson, a copyright attorney, to discuss the impact of artificial intelligence on the music industry. In recent years, the rise of artificial intelligence has transformed numerous industries, and the world of music is no exception. AI generative music, a fascinating intersection of technology and creativity, is reshaping how we compose, produce, and experience sound. But with this innovation comes a host of creative and legal challenges that warrant discussion. Registration for this program is $20 per person.
