Come join us for mushroom foraging field workshops in Owls Head Town Forest. These workshops are hands-on and led by local fungi expert Ian Vair. All workshops will be in the forest and refreshments will be served to all participants. Closed toed shoes and appropriate clothing for the woods are highly recommended.
Program is open to all, but registrations are limited to 15 participants per workshop, so make sure to REGISTER ASAP if you want to join!
*Chef Ian Vair began studying wild mushrooms over 20 years ago. Leading foraging workshops, and vending Vermont farmers markets for 10 years, has strengthened his knowledge in the field of mycology. Today, Ian’s focus is on teaching local workshops and creating YouTube videos, to educate the public. Join the “Green Mountain Chef” as he explores both medicinal and culinary uses of the fungal kingdom.
